HERE WAS an unexpected sound by my doorway that gave me a great start only moments ago. I took up the great stick that I keep near the door and open'd it carefully, only to discover the postrider with a package from my friend
mr. P. A. McClintock, Bookbinder & Stationer. I chided the postman for lurking about in doorways, and inform'd him that he had nearly received a right sound crack on the skull.
My rebound copy of
"The Practical Surveyor" has finally return'd home to my collection!
The parcel, unwrapped.
This is something I have not seem mr. McClintock do before.
The back emblazoned with a crown.
Before and After.
